philosophy

“Live gently like the breeze, real like nature, wild like the tide
- with a courageous heart and a clear mind.”
What does trueground. coaching stand for?

My philosophy is built on three pillars:

The self, community and the environment.

These levels interact with one another and influence each other constantly. The environment (our earth) depends on our collective actions, while community is made up of individuals who are influenced both by their personal surroundings and by the world around them. To live authentically means to live holistically — to consciously recognize and shape all of these levels. Each of these areas has many facets, which is why the Lebe Echt philosophy focuses more on core values that can be integrated into every level of life.

The highest value is naturalness.

Just as the earth knows day and night, ebb and flow, human beings also move through different phases. These are influenced by our physiology and biological rhythms, as well as cognitive, emotional and external circumstances. Relationships evolve through different stages — just like teams in a professional environment. Both in major phases of life and in everyday situations, we constantly experience changing states. Like nature, we live in cycles and seasons — each person in their own unique way.

The second value is personal responsibility.

With the understanding that we are living and dynamic beings — and that human connection is dynamic as well, just like the earth itself — we can consciously focus on the aspects we are actually able to influence. And in my experience, those are many. We often cannot control WHAT happens, but we can decide HOW we respond to it. We may not always understand WHY something happens, but we always have the choice to define our own meaning and direction moving forward.

In my view, human nature is above all creative — endlessly rich in potential. Fields such as epigenetics and neuroplasticity demonstrate how much capacity for change human beings truly have. This potential can sometimes move in unhealthy directions, but the more we get to know ourselves and reconnect with who we are, the more consciously we can channel our energy into our lives, our relationships and the world around us.

The natural polarity of life will always exist.

There will always be challenges. There will always be shadows — just as there is light and relaxation. Nature itself teaches us this principle. Without falling down, we would never learn how to walk. Without winter, we would appreciate the warmth of summer far less. Plants need both rain and sunlight to grow. Ideally, we learn that opposites do not necessarily exclude one another, but can form a system that complements itself.

At the same time, we can decide on which side of the scale we spend most of our time. We can understand the polarity of natural cycles as balance — something that can create far more inner freedom and room to act. We can learn to experience the highs of life more deeply and more often, while consciously accepting and moving through the lows without sinking into drama — ideally with meaningful lessons along the way. The goal is not to eliminate all challenges, but to become someone who can move through them with stability and clarity. I believe that the essence of human beings is fundamentally peaceful, loving and connective. In my experience, this essence can become almost magnetic once we slowly let go of external masks and learn to trust our own abilities again.

Energy is never lost — it only changes direction.

One of the fundamental laws of thermodynamics states that energy never disappears — it merely transforms. Applied to our own lives, this means: the force we sometimes experience as anger, tension or frustration is not inherently “bad.” It is undirected energy trying to communicate something to us. Instead of suppressing it, we can learn to work with it. Just as wind drives a sailboat or water flows around obstacles, it is up to us to guide this energy in a direction that serves us. Change often begins not by suppressing our inner force, but by using it consciously. In many cases, uncomfortable emotions are signals from our unconscious mind trying to show us that something in life needs attention or change.

Energy Follows the Path of Least Resistance

Every living system is designed to use energy efficiently. We can observe this throughout nature: plants grow along the most direct path toward sunlight. Animals instinctively follow the easiest routes to food and water. And we humans are biologically programmed to conserve energy — physically, mentally, and emotionally. This is one of the reasons why we often remain stuck in uncomfortable patterns — because for our system, they are often the easier path than learning a new habit.

As soon as we begin to develop an understanding of the true causes behind our patterns and consciously decide to direct our energy, a natural sense of ease emerges — much like a river finding the smoothest way into the valley. With this proactive approach, we begin to face challenging days — which will always be part of life — with a completely new sense of stability and sovereignty.

And just as life itself is complex, we often find the best solutions when we work with ourselves holistically. I believe in addressing both sides — the inner world and the external circumstances. We can transform a great deal through our inner perspective, clarity, and mindset. At the same time, every person has individual external needs (such as security, social connection, growth, meaningful activity, movement, etc.) and interactions with other areas of life and systems that can primarily be improved through external action. Ideally, we approach our challenges from both sides.

In my experience, people mainly change for two reasons:

Great suffering — or great inspiration for something new.

Many people wait until the pressure becomes unbearable. I believe that especially in Western societies, we have often learned too little about following what genuinely inspires us and deeply moves us. And that is exactly the direction we want to move toward. What could touch you so deeply that you can no longer ignore the call to create a different life?

Trueground. coaching creates a platform for individuals and groups who want to build understanding, take responsibility and reconnect with themselves and their inner drive.

My philosophy combines sensitivity, gentleness, reflection and inner mental training with groundedness, healthy strength, self-efficacy, physical movement and responsibility in the outer world.

At the same time, we seek to reconnect with an ancient home: nature.

In an increasingly fast and digital world, nature can help us reconnect with our natural rhythm. Wilderness training can additionally support us in reconnecting with our own inner strength.

I always meet my clients as equals. Respect and empathy are the foundation of every coaching process. I deeply believe in the potential of my clients and meet them with genuine trust in their abilities. In coaching, we develop an understanding of the problems — but place the main focus on sustainable solutions and personal resources. Often, this process even happens with lightness and humor. Change is a process that can teach us a great deal when we are willing to look honestly and take action.

I believe we are capable of creating a world in which light, connection, clarity and health outweigh fear and division.

And I believe the world needs us. And that begins with ourselves.
